TODDY SHOP FISH CURRY

INGREDIENTS

Seer Fish / Shark - 1/2 kg
Chillypowder - 2 tsp
CorianderPowder - 4 tsp
Garlic pods(big) - 5
(chopped)
Onion - 3 -4 nos
(cut into long slices)
Fenugreek(Uluva) - 1/4 tsp
Kukum star(Tamarind) - 2-3 pieces
Pepperpowder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 3 -4 tsp
Salt - 3 tsp
Tomato (chopped) - 2 -3 nos
Curryleaves -10 nos


DIRECTIONS

Step 1. Soak chilly powder, coriander powder and salt in a cup.
Step 2. Heat 3 tsp of oil in a non stick pan.
Step 3. Add fenugreek seeds and stir till they become dark brown.
Step 4. Add garlic and stir for 2 minutes.
Step 5. Add onions and stir again.
Step 6. Add chopped tomatoes and stir fry.
Step 7. After 5-6 minutes, put the soaked paste. Reduce the flame and stir well for 5-10 minutes so that everything gets mixed well and oil gets separated.
Step 8. Add 3-4 cups of water, stir and boil it.
Step 9. When it starts to boil, slip in the fish pieces along with the kukum star.
Step 10. After 10-15 minutes, the gravy will thicken to a dark brown colour and the fish will get cooked as well.
Step 11. :- DON`T STIR AFTER THE FISH IS COOKED.
Step 12. Add curry leaves.
Step 13. :- Serve the dish after 1-2 minutes.
